Born in Barcelona, Martí Gasull studied commerce at La Salle, after which he began to work in reportage, advertising and industrial photography in both black and white as well as colour using large format cameras and chemical laboratory processes.
Later he began to work in the art world, photographing sculptures, paintings and other media for collectors, art galleries, museums and artists such as Miró, Tàpies, Guinovart, Subirachs, Clavé, Brossa, Plensa, Ràfols, and Hernández, among others.
