Coinciding with International Women's Day, the Uriach Foundation has inaugurated the exhibition entitled "The woman in Uriach" to value the contributions that women have made throughout the 185 years of the company.
The exhibition is divided into two sections. The first is dedicated to the women of the Uriach Family, from Josefa Uriach Vallés, wife of the founder, to the sixth generation; and the second focuses on the company's employees from the 1920s to the present.
In the exhibition you will be able to listen to one of the pieces from the opera La Euda de Uriac, written by Amadeu Vives and Àngel Guimerà, which explains the love story of a strong woman determined to fight to achieve her goals.
The exhibition will be located at our facilities in Sant Cugat del Vallés until March 15.
